Dr. Hall-Findlay has built and developed a private surgical facility in her office in Banff and now restricts her practice to cosmetic breast and abdominal surgery. She still maintains a teaching and academic focus to her practice. She travels extensively as she is frequently asked to speak and perform surgery for teaching purposes both nationally and internationally. She gives teaching courses at major American plastic surgery meetings. She has performed surgery for educational purposes on every continent except Antarctica. These conferences have been not only in the United States but also in places as far away as Vienna, Milan, Cairo, Tel Aviv, Melbourne, Rio de Janeiro, Holland, Germany, and Thailand.

She is also the author of numerous scientific articles and presentations and the co-editor of a surgical textbook, which won the award from the Association of American Publishers for the best clinical book published in medicine in 1990. She has contributed chapters to several plastic surgery textbooks.

The mother of three grown children, Dr. Hall-Findlay has made Banff her home since she began her plastic surgery practice. She is an avid skier and snowboarder but finds it hard to find time between her travels and speaking engagements.
