Join us for our first ever Women to Women Seminar on November 17, 2018. This 1-day Seminar is open to anyone who is interested in attending, not only our patients. Join us as we discuss a variety of topics affecting women today, ranging from professional advice, health & beauty guidance, family management, and personal enrichment.

Fiona Groves

Mind-Body, Nutrition & Fitness

Originally from Australia, Fiona found her home in the Canadian Rockies 12 years ago. Fiona’s passion and purpose is to help others achieve their goals through a mind-body approach to both nutrition and fitness. Having worked as a Personal Trainer and Fitness Instructor in the Bow Valley since 2010, Fiona has been motivating and inspiring locals to become the best version of themselves, as well as people all over the world through online coaching and social media. Fiona’s passion for nutrition and her mind-body approach has led her to further her studies and she is now back in school to become an Eating Psychology Coach.

Allie Spak

Healthy Relationships

Originally from Winnipeg, Allie worked in non-profit community grassroots agencies with a focus on domestic violence. She was certified and worked with Manitoba Justice as a Protection Order Designate for the Domestic Violence and Stalking Act to support families in need of protection during the court process and applications. She has also had experience working front line with Child and Family Services in Winnipeg and rural Manitoba. Allie enjoys connecting with the community, promoting awareness and providing one-on-one support in regards to domestic violence.

Brittany Paul

Thee Lingerie Shoppe was started by Laurette Bell & her partner, Louise Trudelle, in downtown Regina, SK. These women were amongst the first female entrepreneurs to bring high-end French Lingerie to Canada. In 2003, Laurette’s daughter, Linda Paul, took over the business and has since been successful at growing the business. Linda opened a larger location in 2013 that allowed a more convenient location and a larger retail space. In 2016, Linda’s daughter, Brittany Paul, and third generation in the business, opened their second location at Glenmore Landing in Calgary, Alberta. Valerie Prather

Tips for Choosing the Right Lawyer

Valerie Prather’s practice focuses on professional negligence and administrative law. She has appeared before various administrative tribunals, the Court of Queen’s Bench and the Court of Appeal of Alberta. Her practice concentrates on representing physicians before the courts when they are sued for medical negligence. In addition, she provides assistance to physicians in dealing with professional conduct issues before the College of Physicians and Surgeons and various hospital administrative tribunals. She is a frequent lecturer at the University of Calgary Medical School as well as at Grand Rounds and medical conferences on medico-legal matters.
In 2013, Valerie was named a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers. She was also the recipient of the Women in Law Leadership Award for Leadership in Private Practice. In 2016, she was appointed as Queen’s Counsel.

Leslie Davies

Fabulous, Flattering & Feeling Great

Leslie Davies is an Expression & Style expert who gets ridiculously giddy by seeing the women who hire her CELEBRATE, EXPRESS, UNLEASH and RECLAIM their personality through their style, skin and make-up.

After 15 years of working in a corporate job and losing herself in the process, Leslie has discovered through her own journey that clothing is more than superficial “window dressing”. It can be an expression, which stirs and awakens the soul.
And she’s been an Internationally certified Image Consultant for over 13 years, is the Founder and chief stylist for The Stylish Insider, is a successful speaker and style coach working. She has appeared on T.V, radio and in print, most notably the Globe and Mail, Montreal Gazette and Calgary Herald, and was selected as a TV Show Host finalist for the WNetwork.

Lila Smith

Planning for Retirement

Lila has been with BMO Nesbitt Burns for 22 years assisting investors and managing private client wealth. She is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®). She is also a Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®), which allows her to manage client portfolios on a discretionary basis. Lila has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Calgary.

Lila has been actively involved with the Business and Professional Women’s (BPW) Club since 2004. She has served as President of the Calgary Club for four years, on the National Board as Alberta Provincial President for two years and most recently as the National Treasurer.

In her spare time Lila enjoys travelling, hiking, skiing and perfecting her yoga practice.

Colleen Bratko

Words of Wisdom: Phenomenal Women and Self-Talk

Colleen Bratko is a psychologist, an educator, and a doctoral student who has passion for learning and empowering others. She has spent two decades helping children, teens, and adults discover and develop their strengths. In this engaging session, Colleen will blend insights from positive psychology, neuro-psychology and cognitive behavioural techniques to challenge us to improve our well being by shifting our self-talk.

Libertee Muzyka

Beauty for all Ages

Libertee got her start in photography in the makeshift darkroom at her alma mater – Melville Comprehensive High School. After spending grades ten, eleven and twelve in the dark, under an ambient red light, she applied and was accepted to the Alberta College of Art and Design to study photography.

Her continued love for all things beauty has brought her many roles in the last 15 years, including being a part owner of a successful salon studio, downtown Calgary for nine years, establishing a firm foothold in the television and advertising industries as a freelance make-up artist, as well as continuing on with her roots in boudoir, wedding, and family photography.

Alina Constantin, M.D.

Navigating Menopause

Dr. Alina Constantin has extensive medical training in both Romania and Canada (Montreal and Saskatoon) with a strong interest and focus on women’s health. She graduated in 2000 from the University of Saskatchewan and is proud to call Canmore home since 2005. Her two beautiful adult children, Cristina and Michelangelo, make her proud everyday.

Dr. Constantin and her amazing team are proud of their new intimate boutique style clinic – The Three Sisters Laser Clinic. Its mission ensures that every woman who visits receives the utmost attention as they pursue their own path of extreme self-care. There is a time in every woman’s life where they CAN be first again.
