The Wisconsin Society of Plastic Surgeons held their annual conference on May 30, 2014. Dr. Hall-Findlay spoke to attendees as the “Special Guest Lecturer”. From the Society’s information on the conference:

Dr. Hall-Findlay will be demonstrating and discussing a newer breast reduction technique that allows for greater flexibility of pedicle placement, reduced scarring, and better projection. Mastopexy techniques are based on reduction techniques, but there are some tricks with this particular procedure where you actually use part of the inferior breast as an augmentation flap and rotate this superiorly. These techniques are becoming more and more prevalent in other parts of the country. You do see repeat patients and you need to know where the pedicle is so that your revision procedures don’t knock off the blood supply to the nipple.
