The decision to undergo plastic surgery in Canada can raise anxiety and generate many questions. Who will I meet during my visit? How will I be treated? How do I know the procedure I choose will be the best one for me? To help you begin your plastic surgery experience with trust and confidence, we’d like to provide an overview of our services so you know what to expect every step of the way.

The Consultation

A initial consultation with Dr. Hall-Findlay takes place at our beautiful and comfortable office on the private third floor of the Cascade Plaza. You’ll meet our warm and knowledgeable staff and have a thorough consultation with your surgeon. We’ll perform a thorough evaluation to identify your specific aesthetic goals and the best ways to meet them. You can expect this comprehensive meeting to answer all of your questions. Our goal is to ensure you are comfortable with every decision made as part of the pre-operative process and that you understand precisely what to expect from your surgery and recovery process.

While many of our patients leave their first visit with us feeling ready for their procedure, some may require a second appointment or a follow-up phone call or two to wrap up loose ends or address concerns that come up after the initial consultation. We are happy to answer any of your questions that might arise. Our patient coordinator will also provide you with the details of your procedure after your consultation, including scheduling and fee payments.

The Procedure

Your surgery will take place at either our private outpatient surgical facility or at the Mineral Springs Hospital. Patients who have their procedures at our office can rest assured that our facilities are up to the highest standards of safety. In fact, Dr. Hall-Findlay chaired the committee that set the accreditation standards for surgical facilities in Alberta, and her knowledge and commitment to quality are evident in her own surgical offices.

Mineral Springs Hospital is nothing like the city hospitals you may be familiar with. This intimate 25-bed facility offers privacy and attentive service not seen in most urban hospitals today. The staff of the hospital provides the highest level of care and there is no rush to discharge you until you are ready to go home and care for yourself after your procedure.

The Follow-Up

At Banff Plastic Surgery, patient care does not end after surgery. Follow-up care is essential to ensure a safe and successful recovery. You will be scheduled for numerous follow-up appointments so that we can track your progress and ensure no complications arise. In addition, you are always welcome to contact our office or your surgeon with questions and concerns you may have.
