Breast Reduction Alberta: One Patient's Journey

If you’re reading this, you are preparing to have another breast reduction surgery. And you are questioning yourself. Doubting yourself. Worried you are being silly wanting this for yourself after having had the procedure once before. Maybe even twice.

Let me share with you that I too had doubts and worried I was being foolish for wanting another breast reduction surgery as I have had not one, not two, but three such surgeries. My large breasts affected not only the way I saw the world but the way the world saw me. They affected my relationships with people and my self-esteem. The dips in my shoulders hurt and so did my feelings. I could go on and on but you know all of this as you too have had to carry your breasts and everything that came with them both physically and emotionally, the same way I had to carry mine.

Luckily for me and soon to be luckily for you, I was in the hands of the best of the best: Dr. Elizabeth Hall-Findlay. I have total faith in her and that is the most crucial piece of this. I have complete trust in her as a surgeon and as a human being. I put all my faith in her.

And for good reason.

Everyone you will come in contact with will be discreet and treat you with dignity, respect, goodness, and kindness. Every single person will take an interest in you personally and be helpful beyond your wildest dreams. You needn’t be afraid to ask anything. Any question is answered. You needn’t be afraid about being sick or feeling sick. You will be attended to and cared-for one on one. You needn’t worry about being in pain. You needn’t worry about a single thing as everything is taken care of for you. All you have to do is follow the pre-op directives (easy!) and have a positive attitude.

I am here to tell you that although you may think it a bit dramatic, I am of the belief that Dr. Hall-Findlay gave me my life back. Again.
Let her do the same for you.
